Isa 61:1-2
"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,
NKJV
Luke 4:18-21
18 "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD."
20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.
21 And He began to say to them, "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."
NKJV
It is my hope that you would study these scriptures in detail. In Isaiah we see the reference to the opening of door to those that are bound. All of us were bound by the sin of Adam & Eve and the aftermath.
In God’s original plan every thing was provided for man in the garden. Man had no worries and Eden was a paradise.
Adam & Eve sin open a door for pain, sorrow, sickness, disease, and all other calamities we know about today. We know these things were not God’s original plan because Jesus showed us the Father’s perfect will and they were not in His life. We also get a glimpse of heaven and the bible reveals that sickness, pain, sorrows, and lack is not there.
This particular scripture is referring to the jubilee that the Israelites practiced. They had a particular time of the year when all debts was forgiven. All of the other ailments that I mentioned were already provided for in their covenant.
Jesus referred to this passage of scripture to let us know that He was the ultimate jubilee. In our new covenant (which is called better) we have provision for all those same ailments mention above.
In Jesus there is no part of our lives that has not been covered. Through salvation we have healing for our bodies, our minds, and our wallets. There is nothing that touches your life that is not covered in this better covenant.
Col 2:15
15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
NKJV
In Colossians and other passages we see that Jesus disarmed the devil. Satan was defeated and marched around in front of his followers (demons) to see his defeat. He was stripped of all power that he had gotten from Adam. Satan’s kingdom is still in disarray and can not recover. I am telling you the doors are still open and he can’t repair them.
It’s time for you to get all your stuff. Some of us were so busy running when we were freed that we left stuff behind. We were so happy to be saved that we did not think about healing, prosperity, etc. It time to get all that Jesus purchased for you. !
